Whether you’re new to Kentucky, in town visiting or a native, the Bardstown Bourbon Festival is a definite must see activity for you or your family.  Located in picturesque Bardstown, it has something for everyone. Tours of historic Bardstown and the scavenger hunt will appeal to our historians and historic home lovers out there while the music lovers might like the Boots and Bourbon dancing event, the multiple bluegrass bands playing or the concert from Kellie Pickler (it does appear to be sold out at this time). Families might get a kick out of the balloon glow or the “train robbery”.  Or would enjoy the family fun area and multiple food booths.  But let’s not forget the namesake of this event – Bourbon.  One of Kentucky’s most famous products.  A number of different bourbon tastings, educational seminars, and food pairings will impress even the most informed bourbon enthusiast. The event runs September 16-21, 2014 and the weather looks absolutely perfect.  More information can be found on their website www.kybourbonfestival.com.  Visit the festival one day this weekend and let us help you find a new home for sale in Louisville on the other.
